It is not as much but I STILL get hesitation even under moderate acceleration...just enough to annoy the crap out of me! I am not talking about slight hiccups either...I'm talking about unpredictable jolts in acceleration all along the rev ranges.

Did the same thing!!! I traded in my 2003 GTI for an MSP too!!! lol. Never had a problem with mine...except the tranny, the clutch would barely grap...and with the torsion beam they had in the back it would take tons of money to get it to handle like an MSP. I haven't looked back...

This vehicle looks awesome! Wonder why they are getting more hp (look at the torque!!!) out of the 1.8l than the 2.0 MSP ....lol. Oh well, I still love my MAZDASPEED! Love the RacingHarts!

I think it was autoweek that reported that Mazda will make a MazdaSpeed version and considering AWD for 2005-2006.

Well said. This car is an awesome package when you look at it as a whole. I know I'm probably saturated with marketing, but I really do feel more "connected" to the road in this car (not just the suspension either :p) I LOVE MY MAZDASPEED! *must now pay royalties to AGR* ;)

I am referring to stumble in the 4k to 5k rev range...even after the flash. It doesn't happen often but it jolts in the upper rev ranges like you went over a speed bump.
