These were my summer wheels. They are in very good shape and were used for 25k miles. The wheels have not dings, curb...
My car is in the shop, and the repair folks are trying to put my car together with the wrong hardware. I'm looking for a picture of the leading edge of the rear bumper just inside the wheel well. The shop is trying to use the wrong rivets to hold the fender liner in place. I'd like for the pic...
I had to have the splines on my front axles re-greased in order to eliminate a clicking noise. The dealer tried to blame the noise on my non-Mazda brake pads. But as usual, they were wrong. The work was completed by the dealer under warranty. I'm surprised Mazda hasn't issued a bulletin for this...
235/40/18 Kumhos on 18X8 +48 OZ wheels w/ stock suspension rubbed in the rear for me. Pulling the fenders resolved the problem. I suspect you will run into he same issue w/ the 245s.
I basically went with the same sizing as the GRM MS3...
Depends what you mean by decent. I would consider the OEM HW to be decent. You will be hard pressed to improve upon the OEM rotors which can be had for $69 a corner. Essexparts has a good writeup on pads.

I suggest finding someone qualified to identify and resolve the problem. If your NTB shop can't figure it out, they are no good. I'm sure they have some good techs, but there's no way in the world any of my performance vehicles are going to NTB unless I'm in a serious jam. Maybe heck your local...
If a vehicle's ECU has been replaced by a 3rd party engine management system, and the OBD port is no longer present, is it possible to pass MD VEIP using the snif test?
I forget which issue, but GRM had an article where they claim to have opened up top end power by using a CAI and the COBB AP.

I do not beleive replacing the stock BPV will will have the desired effect you...
Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Intersting read.
They state that "you have to understand that the dust caused by brake pads is only partly coming from the pad itself ". I would agree with that. I did not see any refrence to "most" of the dust coming from the rotors. I get the feeling...
Yup. I don't want to be "that guy" driving into the tire wall. I go 1 year on the MS3 and 3 years on my other cars.
Tirerack recmmends every 2 years.

Pads tyically come four per box. Enough for a single axle. Order Qty (1) for the front and Qty (1) for the rear.
Typically noise + dust = higher performance.
"Stopping distance loss is not important"? 10ft could be the difference between rear ending someone and having a nice day. :-)...
I'm currently using Wilwood EXP 600 which has worked flawlessly. Unfortunately it's $20/pint.
I plan to switch to ATE blue which is ~$12/liter. Plenty of people that race use it without incident. I just need to remember to change it every spring.
