Pads tyically come four per box. Enough for a single axle. Order Qty (1) for the front and Qty (1) for the rear. Typically noise + dust = higher performance. "Stopping distance loss is not important"? 10ft could be the difference between rear ending someone and having a nice day. :-)...

I'm currently using Wilwood EXP 600 which has worked flawlessly. Unfortunately it's $20/pint. I plan to switch to ATE blue which is ~$12/liter. Plenty of people that race use it without incident. I just need to remember to change it every spring.
