I have a 2000 protege 1.6 engine automatic trans. Car shifts first gear fine but when it suppose to go into 2nd gear the car revs really high like it's in neutral and the Overdrive light flashes repeatly. I'll let the car slow down then it goes back into first gear. Any suggestions or comments

protege fuel problems I change the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and throttle position sensor but the car still stalls when pressing the gas petal. Also it won't crank unless i spray gas in the breather then it runs like a kitten

I change the fuel pump on my 2000 protege if i shoot alittle gan in the breather it cranks and runs idle like a kitten. The minute i mash the petal it starves for fuel,stumble the shuts down. i check the hose coming from the pumg and it's getting plenty fuel to the injectors. Any recomdentations?
