My son just moved to Brighton, MA- drives a well cared for P5. He thinks his clutch is wearing out- car has about 65K miles.
I've seen a couple of recomended speed shops, but I'm thinking just a good independent shop that would look at his car and give him an honest quote is what he needs...
To clarify, is it best to drop (lower) the engine with the car elevated or remove it from the top with a hoist?
F/U question- easier to pull with the transaxle attached?

OEM Mazda Factory steering wheel for the 1999-2000 Mazda Protege. This is from the ES model with the upscale interior. Wheel was removed early in the car's life and set aside- thus has very little wear. High quality molded vinyl- all the ridges, finger grips, etc are still sharp and unworn...
