there is no need to remove the needles. On mine, I just slipped it around the needles being careful to put little pressure on the needles themselves.

has anyone replaced the lights under their PRND12 shifter in an auto. If so, what bulbs and how many did you use?

I know how to do the first obvious step which would be to take out the center console exposing the e-brake and the shifter. I would like to know how many of which bulbs to buy first tho. Cmon someone has to have done this.
