sorry, almost forgot, the Thermotec brand comes in a roll that you soak in water when you are ready to use it. The water softens the wrap and it becomes really flexible. I always used C/V boot clamps to secure it. They look like stainless steel zip-ties, you can pick them up from most auto parts...

You're right about clearing the CEL, but a good habit to get into when doing this is disconnect the battery, turn the ign. to the run position for a few seconds and then shut it off and reconnect the battery. This will drain any capacitors(sp?) that may store electricity. Some other...
