damn this is what i get for not being on the sites in a while, i would have loved to pick up a pair of 8's for my dash and a 10 for the mazda. this bites.

most of those cheap baffles are way to small. put a free air speaker in an enclosure that is to small and you get what you have, no midbass. if you built a bigger enclosure for them out of 1/4" mdf and played with the size you could probalby get a ton more midbass out of them. screwing around...

they should be okay well below 120 as long as the installer seals them up in the doores effectively, ive had my premiums running down to 60hz and they were fine, only problaby was the door couldn't handle the midbass, and would vibrate badly.

is the underlayment of the hood carbon fiber as well or fiberglass. most companies will put a carbon fiber hood with a fiberglass frame underneath. this could be one diffrence where as one company has a fiberglass frame where the other has a carbon fiber frame.

build the box so your port is on the outside of the box. now you won't have to take into account the volume the port takes up so your box can be as small as possible and just have the port be rectangular and run it across the floor as far as u need it.

for your boost controller try a product called brasso, that thing will shine like it's bling blingin gold. as for the head use mothers aluminum polish, u could buff that thing and get it shining like chrome if u wanted to.
