I had my '06 in for an oil change in April (24,000 km) and their tech found a small leak at the oil pan also. I'm sure this is something Mazda is aware of and their tech's always check for it because I've never seen any oil on my driveway. I always appreciate it when they catch problems before...

I think I have the same problem you describe about a noise, grinding feel through the pedals and steering wheel. For me I notice it most at about 15 km/h. Doesn't matter if I'm turning left/right or going straight. Accelerating/decelerating...once the speed is between 0 and 40 km/h I feel it...

Mine does the same thing after a night of rain or on a dewy morning.

I've had some pretty sheety luck with these tires too. I got my 5 April '06. Back in Oct. I hit a pothole at around 60 km/h and ended up with a huge bulge on the sidewall of the front tire. The impact left a big black rubber mark on both the front and back wheels. I still haven't gotten it...

Wow, thanks for the info everyone. I thought that dial did something to that effect but I couldn't tell the difference and it was starting to bug me. Fancy, but I think I prefer the intermittent with variable speed control.

Hi all. Anyone know what the + /- dial does on the wiper control stalk? I thought it controls the sesitivity or frequency of the wipers coming on in the rain, but when I adjust the dial nothing obvious happens. (dunno)
