Awesome Post. A must read for anyone looking to swap gauge faces. BE CAREFUL OF THE NEEDLES. They brake easily and these companies don't tell you that. Drill or cut the holes bigger to make them fit. I ordered the standard reverse to replace the regular indiglos. WATCH THOSE NEEDLES!!!

some people do put on a clear coat, I didn't. I might, not sure yet. The spray is called nite-shades by VHT. Only thing is to be careful of legalities. I'm putting on one thin coat of the spray. Directions on the can say you can put up to three coats. Too dark for me. I will post pics...
