What do u think about the new 2009 Mazda 6?

Oh, no doubt about it for the first gen and the US version is longer mainly due to bumper size. However, my point is that it most likely wouldn't be the case for the 2nd gen. The US version will look similar to the European and Japanese version, but larger (i.e. longer wheelbase) to...

What do u think about the new 2009 Mazda 6?

I think it would be quite different. Early spy pics and other info indicate that the US version will larger, with longer overhang. I truly hope that it isn't true but I am not keeping my hopes up.

Pressrelease: New Mazda6 debut at Frankfurt Motor Show

So I guess the rumor of the US model being bigger and based on the old platform is very likely to be true...

What do u think about the new 2009 Mazda 6?

I really really really hope you are right. I understand some cosmetic changes are necessary to make it road legal in the US. Mazda, please don't mess this up.

What do u think about the new 2009 Mazda 6?

From Car and Driver: Unfortunately, the U.S. model, which may see the light of day at either November’s L.A. auto show or the Detroit auto show in January, will wear different sheetmetal. We're also told that it could ride on a completely different platform that the Euro-spec car. According to...

P5's are getting old (age wise)!

My P5 is 5 years and 6 months old. Almost 100,000 miles. Only regular maintenance all these years. Just had major tune-up, new timing belt, brake rotors and pads. Still running strong. Will keep it for many more years.

14.807 gallons? I thought our fuel tank is only 14.5 gallons? Impressive numbers anyhow (thumb) .

    2002 Protege5 Security System?

I have the factor alarm installed by the dealer when I bought my car. If you don't have a sercurity system now, just get a good after market one. The factory one is ok but after market ones have more features at the same price.

    Wheels and SpeedO questions

It seems a bit too large for our car, even with that offset. Make sure you do a test fit/run before buying, if possible.

No, the Fuzion ZRi's have been great. It is excellent for their price. Perform very good in wet or dry. Less road noise than my previous Kumho Supra 712. The shop did a great balacing job. No vaibration on freeway. I think ZRi has one of the best combinations of price, performance, and...

    2002 P5 gas mileage issues

17 seems way too low... However, there are lots of factors that can affect your mileage. How many miles do you drive each day? Lots of short trips? Mostly stop and go traffic? Tire pressure too low? Dirty air filter? Letting the car warm up for too long? Too much dead weight in the...

    mpg drop

Haha, I understand what you are saying. Although I commute about 80 miles per day, my P5's gas mileage is good enough for me not to worry too much about gas price. Paying $50-60 more per month is not enough to break my bank, fortunately. However, I pay much attention to the gas mileage...

    mpg drop

Haha, I was thinking about the same thing so I used the Chevron techron fuel injector cleaner in my last tank of gas. No change. Gas mileage still held at ~27mpg. They did change my air filter at the 60k service. The gas mileage had been normal after the service (I managed to get 440 miles...
