anybody think it could be the o2 sensor,,i really dont know what else it could be or maybe fuel pump,,

does anybody elses 2002 mazda protege run at 1500 when you first start it,,then drop down to 800 when worm,,is that a problem,,i changed iac and egr valve

ok i got an update after i put the new iac and the new egr it will start up and will not die,,but it still idles at 1800 untill engine gets warm then 800 but rpm's do not jump up and down ,,why does it idle high when i first start it,,and when i took the old egr off i shook it and something...

i got the egr and idle control valve is there anything else i can check for while i got it apart,,or anything else to check for

does anybody else have any ideas

no check engine light,,never came on

i would say it be your egr,,i would clean it or replace it,thats what people been telling me about the rough idle,,and check for cracks in your air intake house

my mazda stalls when you go around a turn,,i stalls coming out of turn but can pop the cluth and will start right back up,any ideas,and it idels at about 1500 with cluth out,,with cluth in 1000 to 800 with cluth out,any ideas,,and sometimes with cluth in it will want to die when idling

anbody got any ideas

is there anymore things i could clean to get a better performance,,car is ran very hard,,i race it on dirt tracks,what can get dirty and lower the performance of the engine

car is not turbo charged ,,where is the wastegate located,, i thought it would be the iac or the egv valve to thanks for your opinon,,and if you know anything else it could be just let me know,,thanks for your help the egr sounds like the problem because when i put the cluch in it goes form 1500...
