My p5 has been turbo 2012. It has 297ft/tq and 304hp with the stock tranny, exedy stage 1 clutch and its still holding up. I have PAR straight cut 3rd and 4th in my closet just in case they do break one of theses days. I guess I've been lucky though I've heard of people with less hp breaking...
I have that same wastegate and had the same problem. I did this mod and it worked great.
Make sure you put the wastegate bracket the highest as it can go on the compressor housing.
Cut the coolant hose about an inch from the top so that the coolant tube that runs along the block can move up...
Ok, so I need to find a way to put a more restrictive check valve in the in the plumbing. I run a map sensor and a Haltech. Sprint 500. Uff thank god I dont run MAF anymore. Well let me see what I invent to get a pcv valve in the plumbing. If anybody has a good idea I am open for suggestions.
