I pieced together an msp turbo from the wreckers and swapped my ecu to an msp aswell. So not that it's much help to you since the car technically changed to a mazdaspeed but it did also pass emissions after everything.

it looks like the exhaust and intake are reversed. looks wrong to me. It may be just me but that looks like carburators where the exhaust usually is. maybe I need more sleep.

guy is sloppy man. Anyone watch CSI? He's leaving mad fingerprints all over the place. odds are he's probobly on file cause he does this all the time. I'd be more pissed if there was a pro doing it an made me feel like my security system was inadequate.

I have the same issue. I heard a FPR will solve it. It's a glitch in the ecu for mazdaspeeds that aren't flashed. it's simply dumping fuel between 4000-5500 rpm.

I did a full msp conversion and had my ecu in for a week before I actually put the turbo in. the car ran fine. Got the same gas milage I usually get. just make sure you reset the ecu after the turbo goes in. The ecu didn't even throw a CEL.

I know wesman has a broken one. don't know what he's doing with it.

well, I can't use the hiboost cause I have a full length rad and full length condensor. I know ION is impossible to get and MAM's is too expensive and I don't know if t he perrin will fit because of the same reason. It would help if I wasn't eliminating half of the kits out there. :)

you could also hook it up to a vacuum line so that when you hit WOT the cut out opens. Although I'm not sure you wan't it open EVERY time you rip it, but it's a thought.
