A very low speed rub will generally just scuff the sidewall, but of course chews easily through aluminum, it's those 10mph+ drop ins that will cut the sidewall.
So call me crazy, but I am just not loving the 18” rims and Toyo Proxies that came on my ’23 3 Hatch Premium. I’m supposed to like them and aesthetically I do, but… in practice I loathe them. Aside from the fact that I’ve never owned a car with low profile tires (road feel, noise), my biggest...
Good deal, what are the ratio numbers for the tire (2xx/xx/17...)? I am considering this myself and want to get a bit more sidewall since the mountain roads I find myself in are often pretty bad ;-)
Something to consider, the M3 has a smaller cabin than most vehicles. Most larger vehicles have either an under the seat vent or a vent in the center console that blows cold air directly into the back row. The M3 has neither. My CX5 had vents beneath the seat that sent AC to the rear, as it was...
Learned how to open the filler door. Man, I looked every conceivable place for a release lever (like in my CX5), then I decided to press on on it... bingo! Also a quick wash.
I haven't posted here in forever, back in the very earliest days of the CX-5. Glad to see that the model has become a very popular one.
That said... what did I do with my CX-5 today?
Nothing, I sold it on Sunday!
After 10 years she still purred like a kitten and shone like a brand new...
I think all responses from owners with trim levels above the Sport could be excluded. The problem with the Sport model isn't the cushion per se, but the overall lack of adjustability the seat provides. Add in an MT and the level of the front edge makes a large difference in comfort.
I agree...
Seeing them on a daily basis now, including the new white one coming up Tower road the other day. Th driver acknowledged me as we passed (hadn't had that happen before, reminds me of the old Honda commercial- You meet the nicest people on a Honda lol).
Yes many thanks!
Like nizzy I too have a '13 Sport, and am interested in this mod. Armed with this info I may look further into the possibility, my only issue is that I need to tend to the drivers side mirror vibration. I can at least research the wiring a bit better now me thinks.
