    SLS Midpipe

Nope. The exhaust was fine before. Unless you count that the muffler broke off last week. lol. I do plan on moving the exit to the side of the car. I need to do that to participate in track days.

    SLS Midpipe

I'm a bit surprised that I haven't seen this pipe around the forum. Just installed an SLS midpipe on my MSP last weekend. I have to say that I am pleased with the results. I did have to modify the pipe a bit to clear the subframe. I also installed the pipe without the catback. I just...

    thinking of deleting ac....

I deleted the A/C (and PS) earlier this spring. One question: Does one of the rad fans only kick on when the a/c is functioning? If so, which one? If one of the fans is now non-functional, I would like to remove it.

    Belt for A/C delete

Right. I read that article before I started a new thread. The only belt mentioned in that thread was for an underdrive pulley. Hence why I mentioned that I have a stock belt drive. I was really just asking for someone to confirm since I don't trust part stores. Anyway, thanks for the posts...

    Belt for A/C delete

I just wanted to confirm the correct accessory belt for an A/C delete application. This is on an otherwise stock belt drive system. Not underdriven. Would the Gates p/n K050405 be correct? The Rock Auto description for this part is... Micro-V AT Premium OE V-Ribbed Belt; K05 21/32" x 41...

    Rear defroster issue

Hi everyone!! I just had my rear windshield replaced a couple weeks ago. Due to the price difference between the standard protege glass and the MSP glass, I chose to go the route of installing the cheaper protege piece ($200 versus $800). Now, I don't care that I lost the radio antenna (radio...

    Anyone else have this....

Perhaps it's the brake booster losing its vacuum. If i had a guess, I would say it is vacuum being released, rather than positive pressure.

What have you done to your MSP today?

I ran outside during my lunch break and swapped out a broken left rear seat belt. I also removed the center belt/buckle since nobody would be foolish enough to sit there.

    silly question...

    Easy enough. Thanks, b dues!!

    silly question...

Hey all. I've got the itch to go outside and take a look under the hood of my MSP. Problem is, I'm at my desk at work and can't get out there except for during my lunch hour. Does anyone know off-hand what tools I need to take the plastic engine cover off the engine? I'd like to do a quick...

please help - nobody knows whats wrong with my car

Okay. Here's my two cents... My first thought is that a wire has been pinched or shorted in the O2 sensor harness. Take a look along it's path for signs of melting, chaffing, or anything that might have been crushed. Please note that I have only had a MSP for 4 days. My knowledge base is in...

have to replace strut, what now

Just for reference... What is the stock replacement strut for the MSP? Specifically, the part numbers for each corner.

Please don't laugh at the new guy...

Thanks FH!! I'm in midtown. Pics aren't really worth it right now. The car looks very VERY stock. I think I'm going to have to look the car over this weekend to see if there are any hidden mods. I would almost suspect that there is an upgraded motor mount based on NVH at idle.
