funny story...girlfriend added a quart of oil to the car about a year ago and forgot to put the oil cap back on, so had to buy a new one, but that is not what caused all the oil to spray everywhere because I washed the engine after that little incident haha

but also would that cause oil to spray all over my engine mainly where the BPV is?

geez you are probably right...and damnit I was just in there not too long ago replacing the waterpump...not looking forward to opening that damn engine up again

Oil cap is pretty new, no to the silicone though it was doing it before i replaced it.

So I have had this Mystery oil leak for awhile, Valve cover gasket is new checked and not leaking, Here is the thing though... Oil is getting everywhere including on my intake, But I cannot source where it is coming from...is there any already known "weak" spots on the MSPs that could be causing...

btw this is like a supercharger whirring not a deep whirr like from a wheel bearing going bad.

just finished doing my new water pump install on the MSP tonight started her up and drove her around the block twice everything drove fine (atleast before I dug into her), Before I did the WP install after been driven for awhile the car would make a constant whirring sound with the RPMS and go...

to put it back on does the waterpump pulley need to be off? im trying to do it with the pulley on but no dice...

I got it, I had to rotate the crank just a bit for the cam to roll over. thanks for all your help

just pulled the other 3 spark plugs to see if by chance I was fighting compression...nope wasn't the issue, still will not turn
