just finished doing my new water pump install on the MSP tonight started her up and drove her around the block twice everything drove fine (atleast before I dug into her), Before I did the WP install after been driven for awhile the car would make a constant whirring sound with the RPMS and go up as I sped up and slowed down of course when I slowed down and the temperature gauge would fluctuate, changed the WP thinking that was the problem, well it stopped the temp gauge from going up and down but the Whirring comes back after being driven for awhile again.
any ideas? possibly the Alternator needs replacing? thats what I'm leaning towards now but any input would be nice.
