I decided to hold the key and see if the bad wire wud smoke. Noticed smoke coming from the passenger side engine mount ground. Disconnected that and held the key again and the grounds on the head near the coolant temp sensor started to get hot now.? Lost completely.

I just spent all morning going through this car AND alll of the wires are connected where they are supposed to be. I downloaded an electricaL diagram and the grounds seem to be ok. As i hold the key the start clicks once but the battery terminal will smoke. Any ideas? I know its a grounding...

My issue is that the starter just clicks. Nothing cranks over. The battery terminals are getting hot.
And wow. Thats kind of not what i was expecting for why it is called an MP3.
Any ideas?
Brand new battery. Both terminals on the starter are installed. If the starter wasnt getting power it wouldn't click if im not mistaken. What is throwing me off the most is that every ground is installed and the terminals are getting hot.
