aside from adding "performance" upgrades like better brakes and suspension, I have never been happy going down market on other parts like control arms, TREs, etc. there are quality parts out there that are far better than any cheap replacement. basically, avoid ebay for control arms and such.

In reading thus far, it sounds like valve stem seals are the culprit. Car is losing oil, but no drips or leaks anywhere on the outside of the motor (unlike my Audi, but that is a different tale). Issue has been going for a bit, but then I changed out plugs, and it was fixed. That was 5 months...

on something like this, I'd call the dealer service area or pay them a visit in person and ask for the correct part number and either get one online or through the dealer. Some of these little things are hard to track down otherwise.
