Actually, if you did have auto lock enabled, this couldn't happen in this situation. Since the key never left the range of the locks, the doors would not lock and even if they did, pressing the request button on the door handle would recognize a key in the area and open the door.

Was it built-in to the XM radio? I have yet to see an iPod one that works, but would love to be proved wrong.

Actually, if you live near NYC there is no solution. All of the stations overpower any FM transmitters you can get for the ipod. I would think an FM modulator might work, but I'm not certain.
