Hey whats up dude...lol its Waaayyyyy easier said than done! I tried fri and sat. I just cant get to the damn thing its right in my hand but i cant turn the ratchet not enough room and i dont have a smaller one..not tomention th bolts holding it are rusted as hell ans ond screw on the valve...
ive been looking for vids but none for a mazda what exactly should i remove to get the best access to it! and someone else said not to clean it its jus gonna get dirty again in a month?
ok i sprayed down the throttle body with a cleaner and wiped it as well.as far as the egr valve its pretty hard to get to even after i take out the battery and filter.still wants to die when i turn it on and it does unless i give it a bit of gas..im starting to get a bit frustrated but i know im...
if it wasnt your egr what was it?..and i cant find anything on cleaning iac or egr? And as far as ive read..to reset the ecu you unplug the ground\negative and hold the brake for like two minutes then wait a few more before plugging it back in is this true.
yea hopefully after i gap the plugs and clean the iac the misfire goes away..do you think thats something i can do myself im no dummie with a good how-to im sure i can pull it off but if it not that then on to the egr and maf it is. And im not sure how to reset the ecu but ill google that now...
i havnt drove it much just from parking spot to the garage in the back.bear with me here i dont know how to "gap" the plugs or reset the ecu sorry ill try the search bar there now tho
changed the plugs,coils,and cables and still same thing it just feels like it wants to turn off it idles at around 500.how exactly do you clean the iac?
yes actually i just did its now just giving me P0300: multiple cylinder misfire and P0505: idle air control system malfunction an it just feel real weak an just sitting still while its idling it just kind of shakes a bit and stays below 1k rpm
lol yea shane the plate that covers it is a little rusted on the corner..i had already had the ecu taken out ready to replace but a gut feeling told me not to..anyways when i tried to start it and it would jus keep turnin the ecu wasnt put back properly..just a quick plug n play lol he doesnt...
