i agree that was a multiple designer work, but Maeda was one of the leaders.
i agree that nagare-style is hard to apply to series cars, especially the "bread and butter" models.
BTW i have appreciate the work of Maeda (rx-8 and 2) and i think he can do a good job.

in my opinion Cx-5 and/or mx-5 ND are the best candidate for that line of engines.
we'll see...
possible that are "artifact statement" for doing a "smoke wall" over the car in final development and not disturb the well-selling Cx-7 in 2010.

is not a problem of Co2 figures (emissions) BUT POLLUTION (CO, HC,NOX and PM) emissions.
the €5 standard have sligtly inferior figures tha €4, they not spend money to update the engine. a couple of years and we have the new rotary model.
BTW €6 figures (mandatory for 2016) are the same of €5...
if the 1,6 ford engine is the same that we have here in EU...good luck for Ford customers.(loser)
