Dude thats a small scratch - barely size of a quarter. Plus its a CUV and made to handle small scratches here and there.
Personally I wouldn't even bother fixing it.
I don't think you can go wrong with either a 2016 or the newer 2017 model.
Looks are subjective and not worth getting butt-hurt over (rolleyes).
If you can get a good deal on a 2016 like $3-4K off MSRP, I'd get it.
Otherwise the 2017 has many improvements over the 2016 likely worth it to...
New CX-5 looks really good outside and inside.
Given Mazda's history, I'm sure Mazda didn't compromise the CX-5's handling for mature, upscale quality feel.
I'm not sure the CX-5 would need more than 225HP since it's fairly light weight relative to its competitors. Additionally, I don't think the CX-5 has to be super fast, just competitively "fast enough" because it has one thing that the competitors don't have - good handling.
I would be happy if...
The TT is PDK. Porsche's PDK is amazing. My R8 is a manual.
The wheels on the CX-5 are 20" wheels. https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123835901-20-quot-Niche-Concourse-Wheels-Tires
I considered a 997.2TT/TTS but a low mileage are going for $90-110K. So I then looked at 991.2 C4S and a loaded one is around $140K. I figured if I'm going to spend $140K, I might as well spend another $30K and go for a new 2016 Turbo.
Life is short, enjoy it right?! :)
Thanks!
We had a M3 vert and loved the naturally aspirated V8.
I think my favorite BMWs right now are the M2, M235i, and X1.
I had considered getting the i8 over the Porsche Turbo but test driving them back to back, it wasn't even close. The Turbo is an amazing car.
It's crazy but a lot of people don't know that we owned a Mazda CX-5 when they see me driving the Turbo or R8. We always tell people that its the best handling small CUV on the market and overall great little package. I'm really curious to see the next generation CX-5 and if Mazda will add a...
