hey well i am back and i have been seen quite a few of protege5's but yet no replies so if you live on the ms gulf coast and want to get together let me know

i have kick ass bass in my p5 but i now ran into the prob that whenever i turn up the bass i cant hear my highs.. and yes they are still stock so can someone help with this issue or recommended any brands..????????????????? i am looking forward to switching all my door speakers and tweeters......

so by saying grounding it out you do mean to disconnect the wire that goes to the e-brake and just attach it to its own ground (bolt) and it wont make it difference other than the "safety" feature deactiviation

and no i dont have the nav. activated on it. cause with the kenwood you have to buy the adapter, but thanks that is good to know info

no i didnt install it myself and it only does it whenever i take of the e-brake, i.e. if the car is in drive and the e-brake is activated then it will work just fine

hey yall i now have a kenwood ddx8017 but i ran into a problem, it has the "safety" feature that wont let you play a dvd while in motion, does any1 know of a way around the "safety" features

hey you guys i am getting ready to get back from deployment and i was wondering if their were any proteges or p5s in the area that would like to get together once i get back....

ddx8017 alright cool so i will be waiting on those pics.... but you did mention that you also had a cd changer.... my question is does the cd changer have to be kenwood to match the radio or any cd changer will do??? asking cuz a buddy of mine told me that kenwood radios would only match...
