Im having the ame issue on my cx5 6mt. i have the gap. the knob came with something to screw on under the boot to keep it from dropping and showing the gap but i cant figure out how to remove the boot in my 2016 cx5

thanks for that but still no good. the 2016 has the black trim as one big piece running to the front console box. i think i may need to remove the center console completely -__- i just dont want to break anything. are there any diagrams for 2016 ??

Hi guys i have a 2016 cx5 sport 6 speed. I need to remove the shift boot but for some reason it isnt as easy as other cars iv had. Is there a trick to removing the shift boot? most other cars you just pull back and it unclips from the frame
