Previous car before your speed? *Pics*

Over the last 25 years I owned a Golf I GTI (4 speed, only about 1800 pounds heavy!), Golf II GTI, Golf II GTI 16V, Golf III VR6 and Golf IV R32. The Golf I GTI was the most fun of the bunch. Very reliable (didn't have much that could have made problems anyway..). From then on problems got worse...

Previous car before your speed? *Pics*

A PITA, always something breaking, rattling or squeaking. I only had it for 9 months or 11000 km. It was my last VDUB after almost 20 years. I find the Speed 3 so much better, the only thing I miss from the R32 is the AWD.

    Bilstein shock installation...Help!

I have used Bilstein shocks on various cars throughout the last 25 years and always was very pleased with the results. My ride before the MS3 was a Mazda 6 2.3 station wagon with H&R springs (-2 inches) and Bilstein B8 shocks. The result felt very similar to the coilovers I'm now using on my...

    Bilstein shock installation...Help!

I'm using Bilstein B14 PSS coilovers on my MS3 and am totally satisfied with the result. The B14 is a huge improvement over the floaty but also somewhat harsh stock setup. The max. drop is nowhere as low as H&R coils but sufficent fro me. Don't be irritated by the fact that the B14 PSS (or B16...
