Does anyone know if VW wheels will fit the MS3? I have a set of the optional 18's that are 7.5 wide and are a natural fit for 225mm tires.

My wife's has the ducktail spoiler and I think it's a nice compromise between a little sportier looks and rear-vision/boy racer.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have wheels for a VW GTi that are 7.5 inch wide 18's and I was curious if the offset and/or the bolt patter will work with a Speed3. It would be sweet to have wheels to put some all season tires onto before the OEM tires are worn out.

I like practical mods. To me this is too low to the ground, but the fender flairs mean wider wheels and that means wider tires and that is cool...

awesome wheels man - I really like gray / red as a combo. Are you having any rubbing problems? What's the width/ offset? Nice choice.

Will the wheels rub on the inside with that offset? I thought it was a bit odd of Mazda to offer such a narrow stock tire. I'd be afraid of tearing up the inside of the tires though, when going over to a wider tire on that rim.

I'd skip all 3 - the bolts around the rim are murder to clean.

This may be a dumb question - but couldn't one simply have the wheels painted a dark dray as an alternative to powdercoating? What would be the barrier to having that done. I thought from the start a gray of some sort for the wheels would look nice on red and silver cars. I really wish we...
