Thanks for the responses guys. I've tried to set it to aux and the volume on the touch was set a full volume as well as half volume just to see if it made a difference but the stereo continues to tell me there is no cd inserted or no aux unit connected. I may just have to take it to the dealer...

Not sure what the issue is but I've bought two different 3.5mm aux cables and can't get the thing to play in my 2 for the life of me. The aux input just seems like it doesn't fit the cable very well either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks

I've had mine for about 4-5 months now in South Jersey and have yet to spot a single 2 in the area, people just don't know what they're missing out on. I blame Mazda for not pushing it enough, early on in late 2010 and early 2011 i saw the tv ads daily and now i haven't seen one in months.

I installed the Boomerang armrest after about 150 miles because I just could'nt get used to driving with my arm resting in my lap when i wasn't shifting, and with that being said, I don't have any complaints about shifting through the gears with it. Whether shifting casually or really ripping...
