Is there any such thing as a "Dry" Lubricant to put on the disc brake clips? I know you are supposed to put brake grease on the M clips to help the pads slide back and forth. My problem is that I live on a dirt/gravel road and the dust and junk that gets kicked up mixes with the grease. This...

I agree. If someone comes up with and adapter that would mount with the two screws that hold the spring clip, they could make a lot of money.

Switch to a synthetic engine oil. It doesn't get thicker when it's cold. If you have a stick shift, switch to synthetic oil there too.
