where was the info on what optima battery to use and how to install? was it a 35 using the spacer underneath the battery for an easy fit?

High mileage I am talking about highway cruising at 70-75 miles per hour......the only other thing i forgot is that the tranny has redline synthetic......it is so smooth even at 20 degrees.....I averaged 34.8 on the last trip....32 pounds air in the tires

sticking to factory filter I use 5-30 Mobile1 winter....10-30 summer.....fill to the full line on the dip stick.....exactly 3 1/4 quarts with the factory small filter...anymore is overfill...30 mpg average...35 on the highway...k&n filter and racing beat cat back...i change every 2 or 3 months...

what's the recommended time to change?......i'll go to synthetic, but i don't see any recommended interval in the owner's manual.......does that mean it is permanent?

mobil 1 filter? what about using the mobil 1 oil filter........looks like OEM size, but filters smaller particles!!!!!!!!

bought it straight from racing beat ........not from mazda....and bolted it on myself....it's the best!!!!!!!

ditto I got 34.4 on my last trip......5-30 Mobil 1, racing beat cat-back, and K&N drop in......you'll love the deep not too loud sound.....

cat back save some more money and get a cat back system......it's worth it

runs great idles a litle short of 800, but when hot and at night (the lights are on), coming to a stop it goes very low for a sec until it rebounds back to normal........that's all.....i get 29 to 34 mile on a gallon......use mobil 1 5-30.....doesn't burn a drop of oil.....having the lights on...

how can i slightly raise the idle? is there a adjustment screw somewhere on the intake? i know my miata had one and so did my suzuki....

idle screw where is the idle screw? I assume it can raise the idle by adjusting the air fuel mixture.......i have a protege 5...2.0 motor....

keep us posted on repairs It is a pain in the butt, but watch repairs closely and the job can be done correctly.......Since I am also in NJ, I would like to know who does the great work....And remember that my car is probably the cleanest, newest P5 around.....17K. no dings, driven only...

staying high! cheapest in NJ is 3.09/gallon for off brands........but I got 34 miles per gallon on my last tankful........can anyone beat that?
