yea the engine does cut off way to early. from what i hear the engine has no problems going up to 7k-7.5k rpm but it cuts off at 6.5k :( the stage 2 kit is supposed to raise the RPM to 7k. maybe when the stage 3 comes out it will raise it even higher. it speeds up pretty quick, at least...

thanks for the info :) we just replaced the whole pump. we got a reman pump for 180 from mazda. then we had hell because the pulley didn't come with it, then once we got it we had to have a machine shop attach it. bleh it wasn't fun. but it's all cool now :)

well i was driving along this morning and all of a sudden i hear that squeaky belt sound. which one between the K&N and Injen gives you the best performance? i've been looking to get one and i've hard alot of good stuff abotu injen, so i'm leaning towards them alot.
