What plug/gap combo is everyone using for boosting over 12psi? I am currently using ngk BKR6Es @ .032 gap on my setup. I noticed a miss around 4400rpms. Last time I had this problem at 9psi it ended up being that I had too much sparkplug gap. Im wondering at this point if I should go with a...

What are you controlling with the megasquirt? Are you using it in parallel mode? If you are, I would suggest hooking the stock ignition back up if possible. Get the car running right off fuel first. then switch the ignition over to ms.

Umm when did I say it was useless? I first suggested megasquirt as a cheap alternative to a piggyback/jgs system and got blasted saying jgs is so much better. Again im not seeing much of a difference between that and a megasquirt or other strandalone setup tht uses that feature (especially with megasquirt software being programmible). only benefit i see is that itll let you run closer to the edge of detonation with its "special algorithm" ...which id...

pardon my lack of knowledge on the jgs system but... Whats the difference between that and jgs knock sensor and a normal one? I thought a knock sensor was just that. How is the jgs able to detect real engine knock from engine noise? Isnt it just a normal knock sensor thats pre-set so it knows...

if you go megasquirt, you could prolly rig something up like the j&s safeguard...it would sure as hell cost alot less then a piggyback + j&s system

well we hooked tweecer upto my ecu yesterday. i saved some codes. im going to email it to the tweecer guy. i did notice that when tweecer was installed and the car was turned tot eh on position the fans would kick on non-stop. it was able to read off the ecu though. well see what happens

thats weird. I thought the chip that sct sells for your car uses the J3 port.
