2014.5 built after October also have some structural frame changes that allow the CX-5 to pass the difficult small overlap crash test. May not be as fun as some fancy technology change but after watching the crash test videos I'd say its a pretty important change.

2014.5 have been on sale since October. The reason for the conflicting opinions is due to different regions. While 2014.5 have been on sale since Oct in the US, it seems like they are just now rolling out in the EU.

I've tried contacting a few of the dealers that listed 2015 CX-5 but they all said they didn't think they were coming until the end of 2014. I think that's probably BS considering they are already being listed on several dealer websites.

It *should* support 1.3 because it is now in AOSP as of 4.3. However, it might be bugged from the reports I'm seeing. If you haven't already, I would try the latest nightly because there were massive Bluetooth changes done yesterday. I'll be able to investigate more once I get my CX-5.

Hmm, that's a shame. I really hoped to hear about the 2015 from NAIAS. I'm looking to buy a CX-5 immediately and was willing to wait on the 2015 but I'm not so sure now.
