I just put the Bridgestone H/L 422 Ecopias (or whatever) on my CX-5 Touring (225/65R17) and so far they are pretty good. I feel bumps and whatnot more but the stock tires were overly compliant in my opinion so it's likely a good trade off.
Does anyone have a fixed mount roof rack system installed or know of one that exists? It seems like it's a better option than installing the factor rails and then aftermarket crossbars and mounts.
I purchased the CURT Class III 2" trailer hitch (#13127) from AutoAnything.com and had it installed for $40 by the local shop down the road. He said everything bolted up and aligned perfectly and was installed in 20 minutes as the box indicated. I haven't had any rattles, pops or squeaks since...
I like mine, I wish they were a bit more "rubbery" and used the floor mat "clips" on the passenger side but other than that they appear to do the job well.
