I found a way to turn off smart city brake support. Turn off i-ACTIVESENSE and you can then uncheck SCBS. At a cost though. Take a look at 4-85 in your owners manual and it will show all
the "services" that i-ACTIVESENSE supports.
I adjusted mine a few days ago when I replaced the shift knob. These instructions might help:

You'll need a deep 10mm socket for this. It's easy!
For me it's a big difference from the automatic 2.5 I previously had. Mine is not broken in yet, but under 4000 it pulls well. On the road in 6th gear it accelerates nicely. Glad I made the change from the '14 sGT auto.
I agree about feeling closed in. The rear quarter visibility is non existent compared with previous models. But....I have learned to trust my mirrors along with the cross traffic alert an blind spot monitoring so I am happy.
"In fact, when I honk the horn it actually sounds kind of muted."
I don't have my car yet, but from what I've heard, the horn is pretty weak. Meep meep!
Welcome to the forum. That was a nice comparison even though most of those cars aren't available in the USA. How long for you until the snow is finished?
