I have been searching for months for a cai for the 1.6, and finally found one! Weapon-r makes it for the 1.6l, I found it on carid.com. once you pull it up, click the black bar to see more options and you'll see it. If y can't figure it out, call and they will walk you through it.

yes! it's because of the size of the piping. i'd say the piping is 2.5", whereas your tb is 2.25". you have too much air vs gas ratio

it depends on wht you are using it for, do you plan on racing it? if so, go with bigger displacement (2.0). for the 1.8l, you will need the ecm/ecu for it.

i'd say just change both....unless you just have the money for one

go to advanced to check the dtc (diagnostic trouble code) with a scan tool

different compression ratio, which changes air/fuel ratio. instead of 14.7:1, it's smaller. i dont know exactly, but probably around 10:1

you have an o2 on the manifold, and one after the cat. 0421 i think is bank one on the manifold.

what would be the best way to go about it? port N' polish?

hey i got another question..... can the 1.8l exhaust fit on the 1.6l? or would i be better off port matching it?
