I got mine for 150 from a shop from car-parts.com shipped. labor well thats the expensive part it is a pain to change. i heard of guys paying 600 bucks for a new rack so try to find one like i did it had the tie rod ends and all so it went in as one big chunk.
you already have a twichy car thats why it handles well and is tossable. that was just a warning for the lean back one hand gangsta yo drivers. If you drive your car on the track then i am sure you use both hands.
well i finally got the rack put in which has a better ratio and a shorter turn lock to lock. the first thing i noticed is the heavier steering feel. which is nice. you hardly have to move the wheel to start to turn but i wouldn't recomend it for you one hand drivers. Car was already very twitchy...
