    New San Antonio Club

Don't know of any Mazda specific clubs in S.A(too bad). I'm not into the ricer scene, so i can't help you there either.

    rx 8 wheels

Hi, Rx8 wheels are a very popular swap option for Mazda 3 owners. If you decide to keep the stock height, you can safely use the OEM RX8 tires. If you lower the car you need to use 225/40-18's instead, to lessen or eliminate rubbing. I've been in the market for a set, but the local sellers...

    1994 Mazda Protege LX

Nice car. Unfortunately, there's no demand for our cars. The best thing for you to do is to put everything back to stock, clean it up very well and put it on Ebay. Every once in awhile, a stock Protege with low miles will get a good bid. I'm thinking about selling mine, and I won't get s***...

    Thinking about getting a MZ3

Get the Winning blue hatch for the win!! Make sure you get one with ABS/SRS. That's the safest car. Also, try to find an '06, the warranty changes on the '07. (Someone confirm that please).... As far as handling, yeah it's tight. Almost to the point of being twitchy. I was used to driving...

    91 LX Sunroof Replacement

You're talking about replacing the metal panel? If so, you wouldn't believe how easy it is. Open the sunroof about 3 inches, and use a screwdriver to pry the front of the fabric cover (on the bottom side of the panel) down. After you've done that, slide the metal the rest of the way back and...

    i'm a noob

No0b?? My ass.... For those that don't know Turpro, he's a good guy, and very helpful. The guy helped me out with all my suspension rework, and I'm very happy with how the car corners. Very knowledgeable, and an asset. (ok fokker-send the beer money to;*****) ;)

1994 DOHC Manual transmission fluid change?

There's no filler hole per se(sp?). You have to remove the speedometer drive from the back of the tranny and put the end of a long funnel in the hole, and fill up the tranny that way. Fill it till the oil reaches the driveshaft gear. Oh yeah, have fun- it's a pain without a looooong funnel.

    WTB Mirrors

Hello, and welcome. What year is your car? If it's a '94 or earlier, there was no heated mirror, as far as I know. The JDM cars have power folding mirrors, but they can be pricey, as well as a pain to install. Don't know about '95 and up-sorry.

    BIZARRE electrical issue ...

Hello, I read your post about the electrical issues and wanted to chime in, so to speak. As a former auto repair employee, I saw cars come in with similar symptoms, and wondered why the boss relished working on these cars. I'm no electrician, and the thought of having a "ghost in the machine"...

Mother's '92 Protege horn sounds by itself and gets stuck ON

Or....she can go to the dealer, buy the part herself(no more than $15), and have a mechanically inclined friend/relative install it. It is a very easy install. Make sure she specifies whether it is an Lx or Dx, and if it has factory cruise. I have probably replaced 4-5 of them, my whole family...

    removing cv axle from transmission?

I've heard about several Proteges not wanting to give up the r/side axle.... There's 2 options; you can keep on prying on it, but so far that's not working. Or... since you have the left side axle off, try this; get a long very thin screwdriver, insert it into the hole on the left side that the...
