Does it rev past 5k with no additional power and make alot of noise or is it just stopping at 5? Maybe your clutch is starting to slip is why I ask.

The car is a year old so they can take 2k off for that and 2500 for the customer cash back thing. I got mine new in Feb 04 for 16,300 before trade.

Here's my solution. Everyone take up smoking. Park. Hop out. Shut door with engine running. Smoke. Turn off car. Problem solved. And it's only going to cost me about $20 a week and a pair of lungs. Well worth it IMO.
