Tow it behind an F350 w/a bullydog comp. No seriously, boost it. It's what I'm workin' on doin' to mine. Upside-stock motor is stout and can handle boost no prob. Downside-drivetrain is weak and not upgradeable. From what I've researched 200hp seems to be the most the drivetrain can take w/o...
Just a word of advice. Be prepared to adjust your driving habits. The car will want to stall way easier than before, so you'll find yourself slipping the clutch at higher rpms for stop and go traffic. But it does make a noticeable difference in acceleration so the tradeoff is definitely worth it...
Yes the motor will fit. You will need the trans as well as the ECU for the 2.0 engine. Another member has done this swap and I believe he documented it here on the forum. Also you will need the wire harness. Do a search for the other guys thread on the swap.
Okay, here ya go.
Summit Racing pt# ARP-400-8033 is a 16 pk. of the ss studs. The kit price is 147.39. I'm in need of the same except only for the header and I can't believe the cost. Check AWR's website they sell the ARP bearing stud kit. I'm unable to answer the S-pipe part of your question...
Here are before & after pics of my 1.6. I used Tein Stech springs & Tokico blue struts(non-adjustable). Noticeable gain in handling w/o giving up too much ride quality. Go for the spring & strut mod 1st you'll be happier in the long run. sorry the 2nd pic isn't good.
I'm definitely interested and ready to buy. If you don't sell it to pydpypr I'll take it. Also do you still have the brakes? PM me a list of what you have left please, as I'm looking for other stuff too.
