How Do You Adjust The Clutch?

My dealer doesn't have copies of the service manual yet and I'm beginning to realize that the service manager is next to worthless, so I turn to the experts for help.

Since I have owned this car, the clutch has been a little odd. I have complained almost everytime I bring the car in for service. They have adjusted it one way and the other. Always wrong.

Could someone show where the clutch adjustment is? Also, has anyone swapped out the clutch fluid for (say) Motil Sync? What's involved?

Thanks,

Bondo

well I know you know that its hydraulic...so no need to get into that....if you are just talking about adjusting the pedal so that it will either engage or disengage sooner or later....that is done under your dash....look at the clutch pedal, there is a lock nut and rod that goes through the firewall...and into the master cylinder for the clutch.....just loosen the lock nut and either screw the rod out or in to get the result you want and then retighten the lock nut.

hope that is what you were wanting Bob......
