What have you done to your Miata today?

Thanks for reminding me, I need to do that to Bluey! I bought the fluid and stashed it away….forgot all about it!

Friday, we introduced her to her new roommate. So far both are behaving nicely.

Took him for a ride down to Punta Gorda and Englewood for some fun in the sun and meet some new friends…(yesterday)

Thanks Bruce. Next step up, he is a CX-50.

Wow, 1 already? Man the time flies faster as I get older. :( Those warm temps are right around the corner so don't get too comfy on the couch. ;)

Gave her a good wash yesterday and cleaned the top with some 303 cleaner and the Raggtopp brush that I just bought. It is on the expensive side but well worth it, as not one bristle was lost and I liked how well it cleaned the top.

Today I used a lint roller to fine clean the top before applying a coat of 303 protectant. I applied it using a paintbrush to avoid overspray as well as ensuring I got nice even coverage. After it sat in the sun for a good 5hrs, I pulled her into the garage so the 303 can finish curing.

It's a wash and wax morning for my MX as well (the front end is covered in bug guts). I'm skipping my workout this morn so that I can get it all done before I lose the shade behind my garage, by noon it's all sunshine back there and if I don't get to the waxing before that I'll need to put the car back in the garage to get it out of the sun. It's a beautiful morning and I prefer to do the work outside if possible.

The smoke and haze from the Canadian wildfires has finally rolled out, so I will be washing mine too. Two-fold, one, to get the ash/pollen off and two, our local Club CarBQue is tomorrow.
