We should plan on MATG next yr! I’d love to go but with friends….

You have friends? :ROFLMAO:

I'm going to try to make it next year, but given the disappointment of this year I won't be holding my breath. I can't even plan ahead, because I'm starting my seventh month aboard and without a regular relief it's hard to say how my schedule will look next summer. We'll see if the planets align...

Would love to join in with you! Bruce, Jeff and our NY friend Levi might attend as well! We should get serious about it pretty quick to rent a place . If we all go we could go an Airbnb.

Wow! Lot of the area Airbnbs booked already!
What I found this year with looking into a place so close to the event is there are more than a few places available. I think a lot of folks make reservations before they leave, then a year later find they can't make it. A bunch of the places I was looking at were offering discounts too. Of course with a group we probably wouldn't want to leave it to chance and wait until the last minute. One thing I would suggest is to make sure the drive has some sort of paving. My second time there I shared a place with a group and it had a grass drive. With all the rain the first few days getting in and out was interesting. When I got home I pulled a stick out of my butterfly brace and a bunch of rocks out of my rear diffuser.

Would love to join as MATG is def. a bucket list item! However, I can't commit at the moment due to job uncertainties. Would rather ask later if I can pay my portion and crash the party vs. needing to back out at the last minute.

Recently I averaged 38.9mpg on my round trip to LRP where I hung out with Mark and Levi. :)

So I found several spots….if anyone can semi commit (I can cancel up until July) for next Aug. lmk. I’ll send the details! I’m in!

That’s 2 of us….Mike, Levi?
I have been told that no matter what I will be allowed to go home in three weeks' time. If that happens and my brain gets a rest from the craziness, I'll sit down to do some calculations to see if I have even a whisper of a hope of being able to make it, and let you know.

Finally ordered replacement horns and got them installed last night. I installed Hella Sharptones in matte black. These replaced the Marco Tornado horn that died a few weeks ago along with the bracket that held it in place.

I used the stock mounting points on the rad support for the horns. The lo horn on the PS used the OEM connectors but I had to install a short jumper for one of them as it wasn't long enough to reach the connector on the horn. For the hi horn on the DS, I ran two jumpers (one for positive and one for negative) from the stock location. I opted not to use the mounting point for the ground as there is a plastic piece (not sure what it is called) attached with the same bolt. Instead I grounded it to the stock bracket behind the PS fang. I used some expandable braided wire loom to protect the wires and make it look nice. Upon a successful test, I zip tied the braided wire loom to the rad support and re-installed the bumper.

Well yesterday, took her to a cars and coffee event at Larz Anderson auto museum. Great day and turnout!
Had a special guest appearance too!

Nice Mark.

Had our last Autox of the season. Finished 2nd in my class and 13th out of 96 drivers.

Lapping day this Sunday and that will be it for events for Mia this year. Off to sleep till next season.

Picked up a QuickJack 5000 TL and still need to set it up. It will be used to store Mia this winter.

Great driving Bruce! The quickjack is awesome!

Congrats Bruce! Hard to believe that it is the end of the season already.

Jealous of that Quickjack...one day, one day.....
