Is there a reason why they "downgraded" the key fob?
Here's one scenario that I've encountered more than once. I arrive home, get out of the car and walk to the back and press the button to open the hatchback. I then grab the groceries I just bought, press the button to close the hatchback and immediately walk towards the house with the groceries. The car does not lock itself in this scenario. And in what scenarios does the auto lock feature not work?
Maybe you could wait for about 5 seconds for the hatch to close and walk away? as long as you are within range of the rear hatch or one of your front doors when the hatch closes......it should auto lock. Here's one scenario that I've encountered more than once. Yes but that defeats the purpose of auto-lock which not having to think about locking the car. I also could walk away and lock with the key fob which is what I usually do now that I'm aware of this scenario.Maybe you could wait for about 5 seconds for the hatch to close and walk away? as long as you are within range of the rear hatch or one of your front doors when the hatch closes......it should auto lock.
