What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Yeah you have to bring up the picture attachment、copy the URL、and paste it into "Insert Image" function.

FYI - doesn't always work. Tried it last week for my pictures and nothing got uploaded. So went with an external site

Wow - didn't know USA dealers actually put their details as a badge on the back of vehicles....

We just have a window sticker and the number plate frames (which I actually prefer so as not to touch actual body work)

When I buy a new car I tell the salesman that I do NOT want them applying any of their stickers to my car or to put their license plate frames on the car either. When we took delivery of our VW back in 2012 it seems that the salesman didn't listen. When we inspected the car prior to taking delivery, guess what? Stickers AND two license plate frames. I asked the salesman if he remembers me telling him that I didn't want any of those things. He said yes. I asked him why there were stickers on my paint then? He removed them ASAP.

I don't mind the license plate frames that dealer put on the cars. I will replace them eventually once I have chosen my own license plate frame. I do not want any dealer stickers or badges on the car though. Thankfully the dealership I buy my cars from doesn't add any stickers/badges.

I've actually never seen window stickers. That's really lame. You are taking that off, right X?

I hate it when dealers drill holes in the front bumper to attached license plate frames. front plates aren't required or supplied by the province here, so they're literally just there as advertisement. I find the plate frames ruin the front end looks of cars, drives me nuts. I specifically tell dealers not to put them on there, or if they have them on there already to fix it before I buy.

I'm gonna try this again, however this subject was discussed previously. Indeed there is a way do to ATF flush on SkyActiv transmission. I think this dealer did what I intend to do as well, when I get time. They probably have modified a spare ATF cooler, so that instead of circulating ATF inside of it, it gets two ATF ports to the outside. Quite easy, actually. You just need to buy ATF cooler and do some drilling and fitting.
Then they'd drain ATF, unbolt your cooler and let it hang by the coolant hoses. Bolt modified cooler on, hook up to the machine, and off you go. The machine isn't needed though, as you can just start the engine and be done in a minute or so with the complete fluid exchange. The pump will promptly suck the fresh fluid from one container, and dump the old into another...
There's no external "ATF cooler" for SkyActiv-Drive transmission but a "coolant core" inside of transmission. SkyActiv-Drive transmission has no ATF ports on entire transmission casing like other automatic transmissions.

Re: Dealer advertising/badges

The dealer I bought my car from put a sticker on the rear liftgate by the CX-5 badge. Since it was the first time I had bought a car from a dealer like that, I didn't really think about it. It worked itself out though 2 years later when I was rear-ended and the rear liftgate had to be replaced. I'm sure though that there was probably a way to remove it, but I didn't know how. The dealer plate frames came off almost immediately. For one, they cover up the part of the license plate that says "Colorado", and for seconds, I'm sorry, but it's just tacky looking to be advertising like that.

In the future for any cars I buy, they will be without dealer badges/stickers or license plate frames. Unless they want to give me more money off for their free advertising, at which point I will still find a way to remove it all after.

It's my car now, not yours, stealership.

What did I do for my CX 5 today? Took a couple of pics. Not much else was going on.

Installed a new "Matrix" style Arizona License Plate on my car. Here's an example of how they look.

What do you see? This is what I see.
Isn't 2 weeks a bit early to use clay?

Huh, that's cool. I just see random links -- no actual photos embedded in the post. But glad it looks normal to everyone else. That's nice to know!

Huh, OK...so you just see the links (like me), but the person who posted earlier from mobile saw the actual photos. Weird. Thanks for the tip -- I'll give it a shot next time! Kind of a convoluted way to post photos, but good to know.

Respectfully, this is not true. Just take a look at the heat exchanger, AKA ATF cooler for Skyactiv transmissions. The images are all over the internet. It is bolted to the block, 3 bolts, and it is out. Two gaskets for ATF ports that come with a new exchanger.
