I've search everywhere here for someone else with a similar problem without any luck. Here's the problem:
After turning off the engine the system defaults to ACC setting. Pressing the start button again turns on the ignition. Pressing it again puts it back to ACC. As far as I can tell it's impossible to turn off the battery manually now, and I have to leave it in ACC until it automatically shuts off after around 25 minutes. This isn't a HUGE deal, but it means I can't lock/unlock my car until the system shuts itself off, which is super inconvenient. It's like the car thinks I'm turning it off in neutral, when I'm definitely in park.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope I'm just missing something dumb, but the owner's manual isn't helping and I can't find anyone else with a similar problem!
