What have you done to your MSP today?

After you get the tune straightened out then you can install my air box and piping and save a tune for me

That's easy enough. What injectors will you be running and how much boost are you shooting for?

The car is together, but it doesn't want to run. It fires right up but rather than settling into an idle it just dies. I managed to baby the throttle once last night and got it to run for about 10 minutes before it abruptly died. I figured the issue was fuel pressure (or a lack there of) as I've switch to an afpr, jay racing rail, and 440s. But while it was running last night I got the fuel pressure dialed in to a steady 40 psi. I had also changed around and deleted a lot of the vacuum system, but I've since put everything back to stock and I'm not having any luck. The MAF and MAP sensors are plugged in and were in fine working order when the other engine came out. The crank and cam position sensors came on the engine and are unknown quantities. Any thoughts?

I think the big mistake in my forged engine build was changing too much at once.

Which group? That's something that would be worth having around

They are only ~$80 new, charge a couple friends to do their fenders and it will pay for itself. I need to roll the rears on each of my cars, it rubs bad since I put the Weapons back on 1574; +43 offset and stock 215/45 tires. I massaged the fender lips on 1345 when I had the weapons on it for a bit and it cleared pretty well

It's running! I had to add a ton of fuel. The 440s aren't doing their job. I may have to flow test them before going any further.

Nice!

I just pulled 1574 in the garage, going to fix the VC leak, reinstall the firewall plug from when I ran the vac line for the FTC months ago, possibly replace the front sway bushings, and if my new rear swaybar bracket comes in I will install the rear swaybar as well.

Illa, did you rent, borrow, or buy the fender roller? I may have to roll my fenders to clear the sti BBS wheels I picked up. I have to refinish them before they'll go on the car, but clearance could be a problem.

What year are the wheels from? The center hub bore needs to be opened up more to fit unless you run a large enough spacer.

Yikes just pulled the valve cover and the cheap gasket I bought online has leaked oil all over the timing belt area. My silicone seal job may not have been up to par either but the gasket was definitely leaking and it was brand new. Oil ruined the seals on the upper timing cover, sooo now I'm gonna pick up a felpro gasket set with new grommets and do it over again after I clean up all the oil.

Never posted pics of my $6 eBay suede shift boot or $9 AC knobs. The knobs had to be trimmed on the back to fit and they aren't perfect but I kinda like them. They aren't made for a protege

So I thought if the P5's could have one of these we could to. Hopefully there are enough people doing things to their MSP's to keep this going. Ill start.

I finally got tired of my ghetto looking dual gauge pod and spent the money on a full a-pillar (thanks ********** (first) ). I'm going to paint it whenever I can get hold of some of the Krylon #3551 Classic Gray and then put it in. Im pretty sure everybody will be able to tell which is the old and which is the new. I hope to have pics of it installed by the end of the week.
Paint both of them to match.

Wow the app sent me to the first page lol

I'm going to try them with 8mm spacers. If that won't work I may put them on my wife's saabaru and keep my eyes open for some FD wheels.

Welp. With the colder weather the car smokes every morning.
Usually a few seconds after starting it will start smoking until it has warmed up. Builds boost fine and does what its supposed to but turbo seal is suspect. Valve stems would smoke right away I'd think..
Is the turbo oil seal replacable? I might just go back to na for the winter if not
