What did you pay for your CX-5?

From my research so far:
1)The Rear Camera Package package does not come with first production '16 Sport models. None of the dealers that have received the new car yet (as of Feb 15) had the Sport with camera. And who would not want it for an additional $400? Seems like a misperception by the Japanese manufacturer. They'll probably figure that out and start shipping the Sport with the camera, but nobody knows when.
2)The '16 Sport does not have the middle backseat (foldable separately from the left and right), and more important no privacy glass - that's a big factor for me. Plus other small things, which in my opinion make the '15 Touring still a better option.

At least you can get the rearview camera and Connect with the Sport Auto. I don't need or desire a lot of frills, but the Manual Sport is stripped beyond minimum appeal.

These are the prices I paid for a new '2015 CX-5 Touring FWD', purchased on Feb 24.:

MSRP: $24,965

RoofRaisl/ Cargo Net: $475
Delivery Processing and Handling Fee: $880

Total MSRP: $26,320

Trade in: 3000 ( Everyone including this guy quoted max 1200 for it :))
Discounts etc. with Mazda finance: 3000

Total OTD: $20,500

Basically, gave my almost died Sedona and 20,500 and picked up this cool blue mica CX5 Touring. Sad, I cant drive, wife snatched both keys and traded her RAV4 & a a smile with me :)

So your final price was $23,500 without your trade? Is that before or after taxes/title/registration?

I believe taxes were on the number after Trade in and Discounts.. so should be on 20,320. Also this was NC so 3% tax. But he had to adjust some other numbers to meet my 20,500. I was hard bent on 20k OTD with my trade in. Anyway.. so I walked with a 3000 trade in.. gave a check of 5.5k, financed 15k with mazda and drove out a blue mica CX5 touring. I will recheck my invoice and try to post exact numbers.

That's a good deal, then! I also have a blue reflex mica 2015 Touring :) I got out for $25,400 before taxes/title/etc, though I have AWD and the Bose/moonroof package. No roof rack, but bought rails about a month ago and am waiting for the snowy weather to melt before putting them on. Congrats!

Thanks. Trade in + AWD + Bose/Moonroof makes abt same i feel.
Did you do the clear bra / Wind shield protection.. Am wondering if I should do since I keep hearing abt windshield issues and paint, for scratches.. wife driving.. so can't question u know :)
Love the interior and the way it drives. Bluetoothh is behaving odd. Will reset and try again.
What else did you do for it.

Nope, haven't done ether a clear bra or any type of protection. The windshield crack issues seem to be almost exclusive to those with a tech package, which I don't have (didn't need!) so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best! I've only done front and rear fog light trims, side window deflectors (Weathertech), and the OEM roof rails I've been waiting to put on. My Bluetooth has surprisingly never given me any issues with my iPhone 6. I am thinking of getting some interior chrome trim on the rear window armrests (to match the front) and around the AC vents. I just recently did the first oil change with the Mazda moly oil. I'm about 5,800 miles right now.

Just bought a 2016 CX-5 pearl white AWD GT w/ tech and roof rack for 30,900 tonight in Puyallup Washington.

Hi. What was your invoice price?

Thanks!

AWD GT = 28,631
TECH = 1,446
Destination = 880
rails = 220
white = 178

Those are the prices right off the dealer invoice sheet. I texted one of the guys i was talking to and said i would sign today if i could get everything for 30,500. It was the last day of the month.

Hi all,

I found this thread very helpful during my shopping process and wanted to share the outcome. On Saturday I purchased a 2015 CX-5 AWD Touring in Soul Red with moonroof and Bose package, MSRP on window sticker $28,475. Negotiated price was $25,386 including destination charge. Taxes, tags, and "processing fee" added $1526.81. Received $500 Mazda loyalty credit and $500 for taking the standard financing (at least for now), for a final total of $26,413.27.

I am located in northern Virginia and got bids from 9 dealerships in the greater Washington, DC area.

I am interested to know where your source is for the interior chrome trim for the rear armrests.

I got mine off of eBay.

I have those too, they look great. One of them, it was slightly bent and would not stick properly, so I had to add some extra 3M tape to it. I have got mine from aliexpress.

My car was totaled Friday, parked in front of my house . I am going to purchase a 2016 GT with a remote starter. Why is the CX-5's invoice that is published on the Internet, i.e. Edmunds, so tight. MSRP and the invoice are less than 900 dollars. Shouldn't it be much wider ? I am guessing Mazda hides the real invoice, and/or gives all the dealer a huge backend profit margin. Any thoughts ?

IMO: As long as there is a lot of '15 inventory deals on '16s will be hard to come by. They will happen but everyone won't get one.

Mazda themselves are pocketing the money. Why do you think their profit margins are so large while their sales have only increased marginally. Do a quick Google search and you will find plenty on how Mazda is concentrating on increasing profits rather then unit sales.

I bought my new 2016 mazda cx-5 gt with skyactive and tech package for $32,795. The tax and registration are extra.
