The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

it looks like they did a horrible wax job on the hood. But in previous listings it looked good. and When I saw it at school it looked pretty good.

Mostly daddy-duty. Beth's off peddling wares (she sells childrens' books on the side) from 9-3 Saturday and then she's leaving around noon on Sunday for D.C. on business. I was hoping to have the RX7 back because the garage is free again but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

I didn't even see this because I scrolled past the video.

Was planning a huge ride for saturday to get miles on the bike to take it in for the 7,500 mile service BUT just found out it's just an oil change and not a valve adjustment like I thought, so I can do that myself......... might still go on the ride though lol!
 
Funny thing happened on Saturday. Anyone familiar with the door-to-door Kirby vacuum cleaner salesmen? While Ian was napping I was cleaning the RX7 carpets to prep them for dying. I'd just finished the front when one of the salesmen scared the crap out of me (not expecting to see someone standing over me). Even though I told them I wasn't going to buy anything they were adamant about cleaning SOMETHING. So I had them finish cleaning and shampooing the carpets for me. Probably about as good as I would have gotten them clean but at least I wasn't the one sweating.

Also, any HVAC experts in here? Can anyone tell me why the heat exchanger coils in house's A/C can fail in the same manner twice within 5 years? It first happened in 2010 and the coil was replaced with a new one and it looks like it happened again sometime Saturday. The end result is refrigerant leaking from the coil freezing any moisture in the air going through the duct work, which then forms a giant, airflow-restricting ice cube.

What a busy weekend, spent all day Saturday taking a bunch of parts off Whitney so they can live on, on my little brothers car. Replaced all the blown speakers in the ram, nothing special but no music whatsoever was driving me crazy after week haha, and did a minor "tuneup" on the truck, oil change, plugs, k&n air filter, and new coolant....
Waiting on the final few pieces to arrive for Lindsey this week and making a big push to finish her this weekend.

On another note, did y'all see the new schedule for The United Sports Car Racing.... No Mid-Ohio on the schedule again, Indy got dumped and Lime Rock is on. As a fan I find it aggravating cause I don't have the time to travel like Phen, Marlon and Lauri, and the tracks just keep getting further and further away from where I live.... And that just makes it harder and harder to make races when they keep getting further and further away....

Yeah, disappointing again. I probably won't be able to go to a race either, was counting on Indy next year honestly if no Mid-Ohio. It's nice that it's out early so I can pick some dates soon for Natefest 2015! See what might work out for getting bigger parking and switching it to a Saturday.

Pelotonia went great! the 50 miles seems to be getting easier every year. Thank you again for everyone that helped & donated to the Natefest Raffle.


And Tony Stewart/Kevin Ward Jr. ....That's just bad.

We're disappointed as well, there is Lime Rock for te GS and ST series, the date has changed! We will still be working with Mid-Ohio and doing something with World Challenge. We do have Watkins Glen and Mosport, which are close to us. I know a lot of the teams have issues as well with the schedule....maybe if the fans and the Mid-Ohio make enough noise, something will happen! We'll plan accordingly to make the best us of our MOCO resources to make next years events affordable as possible.

What's everyone's thoughts on a meet the Saturday before Father's Day? too much of a hassle?

Other options look to be June 6th or July 18th
